DAY 1: (SAT)
ARRIVAL
Arrival in Istanbul airport and transfer to your
hotel. Overnight in boutique or 4* hotel.
DAY 2 (SUN)
ISTANBUL - GALLIPOLI - CANAKKALE
We will depart in the morning for Gallipoli, and
will visit the site of the famous WWI battle
including the Kabatepe
Museum, which contains relics from the campaign
including original diary extracts and letters,
Anzac Cove, the
landing place of the first wave of Australian and
New Zealand troops during the campaign, Lone Pine
Australian Memorial, Johnston's Jolly where you will
visit the original Allied and Turkish trenches and
tunnels, The Nek and Chunuk Bair New Zealand
Memorial. We have lunch in Eceabat by the
Dardanelles and view Kilitbahir fortress then cross
the Dardanelles by ferry. Free time in the waterside
town of Canakkale and overnight.

DAY 3 (MON)
CANAKKALE - TROY- ASSOS - AYVALIK
Today we will discover the western part of the Troad
(ancient land of Troy). We visit Troy, the
legendary city of Homer and the beautiful Helen,
which has nine principal levels of occupation
covering a period of 3000 years. You will see a
reproduction of the Trojan horse, the museum and the
new excavations. We will continue to Assos
(Behramkale) and the village, which clusters on
a huge spire of rock. We visit the ancient city of
Assos and Temple of Athena, high upon the
hill. You can see the Greek Island of Lesvos from
here. Assos was the place where the first philosophy
school of Aristotle was located and St. Paul
departed for Greece. We will have free time in the
village and then drive down to the small ancient
harbor, where we will have lunch by the seaside. We
will continue through olive growing area and may
stop by the Adatepe Olive oil Museum where
olive oil and soap is sold. Finally we arrive in
Ayvalik with Cunda (Alibey) Island and
its old Greek houses and churches. This island and
its smaller islets were known to the Greeks as
Hecatonnesi and were sacred to Apollo. Overnight in
Ayvalik.

DAY 4 (TUE)
AYVALIK - PERGAMON - IZMIR
We will visit the Pergamon Acropolis, where
the ruins of Zeus Altar can still be seen
today. The acropolis is situated high above the
plain and has a unique panoramic view. The very
narrow and steep theater on the hillside could seat
up to 10,000 people. Parchment paper was first
produced in Pergamon. We will
visit the remains of the Great Library,
which rivaled the one of

Alexandria in Egypt, the
palaces of the kings, and Temple of Trajan.
We will also go off the tourist track to see the new
excavations and the old town of Bergama. We will
pass the Red Hall, which was once a temple to
Serapis and continue to the Asclepion, which
was known as the first place of medical science.
Galen, who originated from Pergamon and became the
most famous doctor of his time, treated his patients
here. Overnight in Izmir.

DAY 5 (WED)
IZMIR - SARDES - BIRGI VILLAGE - KUSADASI
We will make an interesting detour into the inner
Aegean for Sardes with its temple of Artemis,
agora, gymnasium and ancient synagogue.
It was once

the wealthy capital of the
ancient Lydian Empire, and was the first place in
history that coins
were minted. We will pass over Boz Mountain and come
to the village of Birgi. Which is full of
beautiful old stone and wood houses. Visit the
Cakir Aga Konak (mansion), which is now a
museum. It is wood-frame

and in original
condition with hand paintings
in every room and Ulu Cami
(the Great mosque)
built in 1312, with it precious turquoise Iznik
tiles and intricately carved woodwork. Free time in
the village. Overnight in Kusadasi.

DAY 6 (THU)
EPHESUS - HOUSE OF VIRGIN MARY - BASILICA OF ST JOHN - KUSADASI |

Today we will visit the House of Virgin Mary,
which is a major pilgrimage site, then
Ephesus, with the Library of Celsius,
Temple of Hadrian, Agora and fantastic
Greco-Roman theater. We will visit the wine
growing village of Sirince and have lunch
there. We will also visit the Basilica of St.
John and remains of the Temple of Artemis,
which was known as one of Seven Wonders of the
ancient world. Overnight in Kusadasi.

DAY 7 (FRI)
KUSADASI - EUROMOS - LAKE BAFA - BODRUM
Today we will see Euromos, which is seldom
visited and boasts a very well preserved temple in
the Corinthian order from the 2nd C and Lake Bafa,
where the village of Kapikiri is built among
the ruins of Heracleia-by-Latmos and the
ruins of old monasteries perch upon islands in the
lake. We continue to Bodrum, with its whitewashed
houses, small harbor and the impressive Castle of
St. Peter where there some of the most
interesting finds from shipwrecks of the bronze and
Roman age. We will also visit the foundations of the
huge Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, which was
one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. If
you like, you may enjoy the nightlife of Bodrum.
Overnight in 4* hotel.

DAY 8 (SAT)
BODRUM - DALYAN
Today we will drive to Dalyan and have an
enjoyable day in this fishing town with a
riverboat tour, where you may enjoy thermal
waters and a mud bath, visit the ancient site of
Caunos and lay on sandy Iztuzu beach,
which is a breeding ground of the famous Caretta
Caretta turtle. Overnight in Dalyan.

DAY 9 (SUN)
DALYAN - TLOS - SAKLIKENT - FETHIYE
Our journey takes us up into the mountains. Today's
visits will include the ancient site of Tlos,
which is carved out with Lycian tombs and crowned by
a ruined stronghold of an 18th century robber baron.
There is a relief of Bellerophon riding the winged
horse Pegasus and an ivy-covered ruin of a Roman
bath. We will also visit the gorge of Saklikent,
with its steep walls, by walking on a boardwalk over
the rapids and/or depending on time Oludeniz
(known as Turkey's most beautiful beach). We
continue to Fethiye and overnight.

DAY 10 (MON)
FETHIYE - XANTOS - PATARA - KALKAN - KAS
Today we will visit Xantos, which was the
capital of Lycia. It has a fine Roman theater and
Lycian pillar tombs. The next stop is Patara,
with its 17km long white sandy beach and ruins half
buried in sand dunes. Patara was the birthplace of
the 4th c Byzantine bishop known later as Santa
Claus. We will visit the old part of Kalkan,
which was a fishing village once occupied by Ottoman
Greeks. Overnight in the small waterside town of Kas.

DAY 11 (TUE)
GULET CRUISE - KAS - KEKOVA
Today we will board our gulet for a cruise of the
beautiful bays and visit the ancient site of
Aperlai, Relax, swim and sunbath on the gulet
while cruising by beautiful scenery, islands, pine
groves, rocky coves and the Taurus mountain
hinterland. Overnight on the gulet.

DAY 12 (WED)
GULET CRUISE - KEKOVA - UCAGIZ - SIMENA

We will cruise to Kekova, a peaceful group of
picturesque islands with very distinctive rock
sarcophagi and ancient houses submerged under the
clear water. The cruise also includes Ucagiz
Village and the quaint village of Simena
with its stone houses covered in bougainvillea, and
the castle. There will be many opportunities for
swimming. Overnight on the gulet in Gokkaya or
nearby.

GULET CRUISE - MYRA -
ANTALYA
We have breakfast on board then disembark in Cayagzi
harbor, where there is a bird paradise and the ruins
of Andriake. We will see the Lycian tombs of Myra
and the Church of St. Nicholas (Santa Claus).
We will continue along the scenic coast and visit
the ancient site of Phaselis with its
harbors, harbor way, Roman theater and aqueduct.
Overnight in Antalya.

DAY 14: (FRI)
ANTALYA
- PERGE - ASPENDOS
We will see Perge, which was originally
settled by the Hittites around 1500 BC. We will
visit the impressive colonnaded street, baths,
nymphaeum, and agora and the fountain of the River
God, where waters once poured down the center of the
city. We continue to Aspendos to see one of
the best-preserved amphitheaters in the world.
Overnight in Antalya.

ANTALYA - ISTANBUL
We will visit the old part of Antalya called
Kaleici, with the Gate of Hadrian,
the Clock Tower, Fluted minaret,
Palm Street and the ancient harbor. There are
many beautiful old houses in Kaleici.
Transfer to the airport for flight to
Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
