Melekler
Evi (Angel’s House) Hotel in Urgup
Cappadocia is certainly something special.
This heavenly hotel was renovated and
re-designed by the interior designer and
master architect Arzu and Muammer Erinal
from Istanbul, who now are the hosts of the
Angel’s House. The hotel opened in August of
2007 after the couple worked nearly four
years to gain the necessary permission and
complete the restoration. The hotel
immediately received rave reviews as a real
accommodation find in Cappadocia. The
Melekler Evi is different from any other
hotel in Cappadocia because of the character
of the rooms. Angels are hidden in antique
lamps and chandeliers that illuminate the
soft, cool and rich texture of the stone,
ceramic and brick used in the rooms.
Melekler Evi has only seven rooms and here
is some information about them. There are
four deluxe rooms and three suites. Four
rooms are cave rooms and three rooms are
built out of stone. All rooms include
central heating and some with stone fire
places. There are antique brass and wooden
beds with old wooden cabinets. Many of the
original wooden doors were restored and used
in the rooms. The rooms are named as
follows: Life, Dream, Peace, Hope, Delight,
Paradise and Love and also feature massage
shower or Jacuzzi, central heating.
There is a charming courtyard with fruit
trees, terraces at different levels with
fantastic views for meals, relaxing and
sunbathing and also a charming breakfast
room that has a fireplace. We hope you will
enjoy this paradise of a hotel. |
