The
Village Cave Hotel located in the authentic
village of Cavusin in Cappadocia is a very
special hotel in a very special location. Mr
Halim Oz and his family carefully restored
this beautiful century old Greek House to
its former glory and now offer 7 special
rooms to their guests. Cavusin Village is
known for the ancient church of St John and
the massive ruined cliff with old Greek
houses and it is on the trail to Rose and
Red Valleys and also in the other direction
to Pasabagi. You can actually walk to Goreme
town or the Goreme Open Air Museum. The
Village Cave Hotel rooms are all different,
and rooms of the upper gallery are
approached by going through a tunnel carved
into the rock. Room details include
authentic regional carpets and kilims,
ornate stone carving and niches in the rock,
wood or granite floor with heating, private
bathroom and shower, telephone, mini bar,
hair dryer and some rooms with a view of the
old church and ruins or with a cozy
fireplace. All rooms are of the natural
stone or carved directly into the rock. |
