DAY 1 |
|
BODRUM - GULET EMBARKATION |
|
Boarding of the gulet will commence at 15:30
in the Bodrum Harbor. We will stay anchored
in the port of Bodrum today and you are free
to discover lively Bodrum which has a rich
history. The city was once called
Halicarnassus and was the birthplace of the
historian Herodotus. On your own you can
visit the remains of the Mausoleum which was
one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient
world, the Amphitheater and the Castle of St
Peter with a history dating back to the
middle ages. Dinner and overnight on the

DAY 2 |
|
BODRUM – PALAMUT BAY – INCEBURUN |
|
We leave Bodrum early in the morning to Palamut
Bay. We anchor in Inceburun after having
lunch and swimming breaks. Overnight and dinner in

DAY 3 |
|
AKTUR BAY – BENCIK BAY
After a hearty breakfast we cruise to the
Bay of Aktur. Our first stop will be Bencik
Bay with its narrow entrance. Bencik is at the
narrowest point of the peninsula that separates the
Gulf of Hisaronu from the Gulf of Gokova. Dinner and
overnight in Bencik Bay. B. L. D.

DAY
4 |
|
EMEL SAYIN COVE – ORHANIYE – SELIMIYE
After Breakfast we anchor in the beautiful
cove of Emel Sayin and enjoy a swimming stop.
We continue to Orhaniye for lunch. You will
see the natural tidal formation called “kiz kumu” of
which there are many myths. On a small island in the
by it is possible to see the ruins of an ancient
city and a castle. We continue to Selimiye
for dinner and overnight. B. L. D.

DAY 5
|
|
DIRSEK BUKU – BOZBURUN |
|
We will continue to Dirsekbuku and
after enjoying another swim we continue to
Bozburun, which is a small fishing town. The
area was popular for sponge diving in the past and
is a charming place to visit. Overnight near
Bozburun. B. L. D.

DAY 6 |
|
DATCA – KNIDOS (CNIDUS) |
|
Today is perhaps the culmination of the
cruise as we head toward Datca. Datca
is a charming seaside town that was founded
by the Dorians who arrived in the area
around the 7th Century B.C. The Peninsula
has nearly no humidity and is known for its
high level of oxygen in the air. The
historian Strabo remarks that “God would
send his beloved servants there in order to
live a longer life”. Stroll around the
harbor of Datca for a while and then we
cruise to Knidos for dinner and
overnight. Ancient Cnidus was a highly
developed ancient city which housed famous
painters, sculptors, doctors and architects
such as Sostrates, who commissioned the
Light House of Alexandria. Cnidus is also
known for the beautiful sculpture of
Aphrodites found there. You may walk on the
shore to see the ruins of the ancient city.

DAY 7 |
|
POYRAZ BAY – METEOR BAY – BODRUM |
|
We get an early start to Black Island and
have breakfast and a swimming stop beautiful
Poyraz Bay, with its turquoise blue waters, on
the northern side of the island. We continue to the
south side of Black Island and anchor in Meteor
Bay for lunch. There is a meteor hold here and
you can jump from a platform into deep water or walk
through the underwater cave near the bay (entry fee
not included). We continue to Bodrum Harbor for
dinner and overnight on the gulet. B. L. D. |

DAY 8 |
|
BODRUM - DISEMBARKATION |
|
You will have a last breakfast on the gulet
and disembark at 10:30. B. |
