most of our selected hotels are within easy access of
the center so that you may make the most of your free
time. These hotels have been selected for cleanliness,
comfort, service and charm. Below are some of the
hotels featured in our tours. All featured hotels
include private toilet and shower or bathtub in the
room, 24-hour hot water, heating and telephone. If you
choose one of our special Insight tours, you will have
a choice of hotel category in Istanbul. If you choose
a tailored tour or city package, you will have a
choice of hotels throughout your tour. This is only a
small sampling of what we have to offer, and if you
have a special request for an Istanbul or city package

Four Star Hotels in Turkey
Feature air-conditioning and central heating,
telephone, television, music, mini-bar, hair-dryer,
safe box and normally a bar or restaurant.
Special Class Hotels, Boutique Hotels, Guesthouses and
Bed and Breakfast Establishments in Turkey
We have many great options for this category of hotel,
which reflect the culture and architecture of Turkey.
One thing that most special category hotels in
Istanbul and Turkey share in common is that they are
small hotels that do not have many rooms and service
is more personal. A special category hotel may be a
converted Ottoman mansion, an old stone house, a
caravanserai or a cave and volcanic stone house. Some
of these special hotels are similar to guesthouses or
bed and breakfast establishments and are owned and run
by family members, whereas others are luxury hotels
with professional staff. Because of the high quality
of these establishments, they tend to be priced
between the range of four and five star hotels in
general. Most special class hotels have air-conditioning
except Cappadocia volcanic stone hotels and Black Sea
region hotels, where it is not necessary.

These hotels are clean and comfortable but more basic.
Like the above, they include shower/bath and toilet in
the room. They may or may not be air-conditioned.
