19th century mansion near the Chora (Church)
Museum, also known as “Kariye” in Turkish.
This area above the Golden Horn near the
city walls is a peaceful place to stay in an
old neighborhood of Istanbul. Kariye Hotel
has a mix of traditional style, such as lace
curtains and traditional Turkish carpets
with modern amenities in the rooms such as
T.V. mini-bar, hair dryer, telephone and
radio. There are only 22 standard rooms, 2
deluxe rooms, 2 suites and a family room.
