PHILADELPHIA (ALASEHIR)
One of the Seven Churches and the city of
Brotherly Love is now called Alasehir and is
on the northeast edge of Boz Mountain. There was a
citadel in ancient times but only
a few ruins are visible now. The most interesting
remains of Christian Philadelphia, are
part of a Byzantine basilica built of brick.
