Gul Evi
Hotel in Safranbolu is a complex of
beautiful old Ottoman Houses that have been
newly restored with care. Each house has a
name such as Hacimemisler House, Betenler
House, Gokculer House, which carry the names
of old families of Safranbolu. Gul Evi is
run by Ibrahim Canbulat and his wife Gul,
who are award winners of the Chamber of
Architects of Turkey and have supervised the
restoration and designed the rooms with the
comfort of their guest in mind. Each of the
five rooms now in service is different in
shade and texture and features velvet
upholstered divans, embroidered curtains and
decorated wood ceiling. On completion, the
Gulevi complex will total 17 bedrooms. In
addition to the now open Aquarius Café - Bar
with a capacity of 24 seats, a banquet hall
with 16 seats, restaurant with 34 seats and
garden with 100 seats will be at your
service soon to enjoy the special Anatolian
cuisine. A seminar hall, which can be used
for concerts, will complete the Gulevi
Complex.
