This tour takes place in the morning and is a walking tour around the historical city center. Safranbolu is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and during the tour you will visit some of the well-preserved traditional houses of the city. Some of the houses are now museums with beautiful gardens in the back where you can relax after the tour. You will start off at Hidirlik Hill, where you will have a great view of the town below. During the tour you will also visit Cinci Han, Cinci Hamam, Koprulu Mosque with its sundial clock, Pasa Mosque and Ulu

interesting bird houses.
You will get to see traditional craftsmen at work - coppersmiths, shoe-makers and pack-saddle makers, and have a chance to shop in the old bazaar. Also visit the castle, an old government building and a historical 200 year old clock tower that is still running today. |

YORUK VILLAGE AND AROUND SAFRANBOLU (HALF

This tour takes place in the afternoon and looks at the villages and natural beauty of the area surrounding Safranbolu. You will see the scenic Dipsiz Lake and then continue on to Yoruk Village, known for its bread-making and beautiful Ottoman houses. You will also visit Sipahiler Museum and the Laundry Museum. Finally, you will also get a chance to see saffron flowers, which produce the precious saffron spice, and give the area its name. |

This tour will take you to the highlights in and around Safranbolu. Visit well-preserved houses in the quaint cobblestone streets of Safranbolu, the artisans' quarter where craftsmen still practice their trade, the Arasta bazaar, Cinci Han and Hamam, Koprulu Mosque with its sundial clock, Pasa and Ulu Mosques, the old government building and clock tower. After lunch, continue out of town and visit the picturesque Dipsiz Lake, Yoruk Village, the Sipahiler and Laundry Museums and see saffron
flowers, which give the area its name. Lunch is
included.

BULAK MECILIS CAVE TOUR

This tour will take you to see some interesting natural and historical sites. Trek through the Bulak Mecilis Cave, the 4th largest cave in Turkey, with an underground river and small lakes. Visit the Incekaya Aqueduct, built during the Byzantine period and restored by the Ottomans to bring Safranbolu water. You will also see the summer escape of Baglar and its Degirmenbasi (water mill). Picnic lunch.
