Itinerary: Ephesus
Tour
Hello Lisa,
All of my fellow travelers were extremely jealous that I had arranged for a
separate tour of Ephesus, and were even more so when I told them that my
tour guide was both an archeologist and a botanist and there were only 3
people in my group instead of almost 30.
Not only did we discuss the architecture, but also the local flora which
made it even more interesting. I was the "authority" for a short period
after rejoining my group and telling all of them what I had learned from
my guide, including the camps of the nomads with their angora tents.
In addition, they were envious that we toured a carpet cooperative and a
ceramic store during my tour. I enjoyed the exposure to
how the local cooperative produces carpeting. The ceramic store was much
less expensive than the store we visited later as a group, and allowed me
to purchase all of my souvenirs for friends and family and ship them
directly home.
Overall, the tour was handled most professionally, the driver was
excellent and our guide was exceptional. I do not usually use superlatives this freely, so you know I had a great time. I will definitely recommend your tour company to
others in the future and hope to use your services again myself. Thank
you for a wonderful day during my fourteen day adventure!
