Boarding starts at 16:00 from the harbor of Gocek. Which is a charming small town that is an important yachting center in Turkey. After the harbor procedures are completed we will cruise toward Sunken Bath Cove (Cleopatra Bay) which has the remains of a historical bath underwater. The bay is named after the famous Egyptian queen as she is said to have visited and bathed here. You will enjoy swimming in this picturesque bay in the clean blue Mediterranean. We continue after our refreshing swim to Aga Harbor for dinner and overnight. B.L.D.
DAY 2: AGA HARBOR – BUTTERFLY VALLEY – OLUDENIZ – GEMILER ISLAND
We depart from Aga Harbor and sail towards Butterfly Valley. This Valley; is located in the Oludeniz region at the foothill of Mount Babadag. The Valley is called the ‘Butterfly Valley’ because it is home to more than eighty butterfly species and including the ‘Jersey Tiger’ and is impressive in its natural assets such as interesting endemic plant species and surrounding steep walls up to 350 meters. After breakfast and swimming break, we will cruise towards Oludeniz (The Blue Lagoon ) which is an inlet as its name suggests. We anchor here for a long swim break and lunch. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Gemiler Island, also known as Aya Nikolas (St Nicholas) Island. The island is 1 kilometre long and 400 meters wide. On the island are ancient remains of churches and religious buildings, some of which have their foundations caved into the rocks. Overnight on the gulet. B.L.D.
DAY 3: GEMILER ISLAND – BEDRI RAHMI BAY – TERSANE ISLAND – YASSICA ISLAND
After breakfast, we leave Gemiler Island behind us and cruise towards Bedri Rahmi Bay. Bedri Rahmi Eyuboglu; a Turkish painter, writer and poet came here in 1974 and because of his love for art he wanted to leave a ‘signature’ of himself. On a big stone at the entrance of the bay at first sight you see a fish painting, but as soon as you come closer you will notice it contains actually six animals, instead of only one fish. This bay was formerly known as Tasyaka, but after the painting it got its current name. For lunch and another swimming break, we will cruise to Tersane Island, the largest island of Gocek Bay. The Island got its name from the Ottoman Period where this Island was mainly used as a shipyard. We will be cruising towards our last stop of the day, where we will anchor. The variety of islands; from large to small, offering options with their low, high, deep and shallow waters, are gathered in the same area under the name of Yassica. Overnight on the gulet. B.L.D.
DAY 4: YASSICA – SARSALA BAY – GOCEK ISLAND – GOCEK
We depart early and set off to Sarsala Bay where we enjoy our breakfast. You will get a taste of paradise while diving into the clear and clean waters of this unspoiled bay. We continue afterward to Incirlik Bay which is located on the southwest side of Gocek Island. Here we enjoy our lunch and the last swimming break of our cruise.
